Ege Kolcu (born in Istanbul in 1994) is a deaf sculptor who currently lives and works in Carrara, Italy. His artistic research focuses on the intersection between matter, symbol and deaf identity. Through the tactile language of sculpture, he explores silence as a means of expression and reflection. Combining classical elements with a contemporary sensibility, his works evoke the resonance of invisible sound and the embodiment of inner landscapes.
