Claudia Zanaga was born in Padua in 1993. She graduated with a three-year degree in sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice and completed her studies in 2021 with a two-year degree in sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara. She develops ideas linked to symbolic and universal forms, addressing anthropological themes such as traditions, migration, metamorphosis and the post-human. She prefers marble as a concrete and eternal expression of the images she creates.
She participates in national and international competitions, sculpture symposiums and artist residencies in Croatia, France, Switzerland, Spain, Germany, Luxembourg, Turkey, India and Italy. She is currently studying Cultural Anthropology at Ca' Foscari University in Venice and lives and works in Carrara.
